Our dental floats are made of high quality stainless steel with rubber hand grip.  This is a vet quality mini float.  The blades are installed with  screws which can be removed with an allen wrench to replace the blade. The float handle is 12 inches long, including the blade, and the blade is 2 1/4 inches long by 3/4 inches wide.  No need to buy another float, just a new blade.
