All the newborn foal blankets come with a velcro front  and velcro belly band.  Outer shell is 1000 denier cordura with a fleece lining.  The bellyband is set forward as to not interfere with the naval cord area.  The 16" fits a very small foal  and 18" usually fit an average  "A" size foal.  The 20" and 22" fitting a larger foal or "B" size foal.  When using a foal blanket on a newborn foal, make sure the mother is comfortable with the blanket, as the blankets can sometimes mask the smell of the foal and the mother may possibly not accept the foal or let it nurse.
